Professional Biography:

I love to teach preschool students and I have over 17 years of experience in teaching. I have a Child Development Associate degree (CDA) in Preschool.  I also have College Education in Administration. I love my role as the Director of Learning Ship and this will be my sixth year here.

Over the years I have been involved in several areas of children’s ministry. I enjoy being a part of the praise team at my church as well.

Personal Biography:

I have two children.  My oldest attends Calvin University and my youngest is at Zeeland Public Schools. We love to spend time together attending Christian concerts, traveling, kayaking, having movie nights or pretty much doing anything together.  In my personal free time. I enjoy running, swimming, hiking, making pinterest crafts, going to the beach, cooking and baking.

God has brought a wonderful man into my life. I was recently engaged this past summer and look forward to marrying him in 2021.

Philosophical Biography:

I love teaching preschool children. They are so much fun to be around, talk to, listen to, love and care for. God has called me here to Learning Ship Christian Preschool at Fair Haven. I am so thrilled and full of excitement year after year that He has opened this door for me. The early childhood years are very important for early development and I am very blessed & privileged that I have the opportunity to teach, love, and create relationships with children and their families.
